My name is Leandra Prieto, a Cuban-American illustrator and designer based in Milwaukee. My focus is on children’s design with a style that is informed by how children learn: bold shape language, fun colours, and exciting textures. My love for animals, cooking, and patterns are prominent influences in my work and pave the way for experimentation in my portfolio. In my free time, you can find me creating new recipes in the kitchen or dreaming up new ideas for playful characters and patterns.
